Hi loves! Today I have a variation of Manon's gorgeous minty stars look to show you, as she already mentioned that exact stamping image is my favorite one to use. It's actually one of my favorite designs in general, and so I bought wallpaper with the pattern as well and put it in the doors on our bookcases ^^. You can check it out on Instagram!
To see more, you know what to do ;-).
The base for this look is the lovely Sinful Colors Blue La La, which I showed before in a gradient. But, it's too pretty to not use by itself! I needed 2 coats for an opaque look, and while the first coat can be slightly watery in some places, the second coat gives a perfect creamy finish and it levels really well. It also dried quite quickly which was great for the next step!
For the stamping, I used my Messy Mansion Pro stamperset, MoYou London Suki 05 and China Glaze 2030. I've been meaning to pick up Essie Penny Talk because sometimes I want a more coppery look instead of gold - I think that would look great against the blue base as well!
While this stamping image might become a bit boring to you, I don't think I can put it aside just yet.. maybe when my birthday gift of 4 new plates arrive ^^?
What is your favorite stamping polish? And do you have any recommendations for a copper metallic shade? Tell me in the comments!
I love this vivid blue and I cannot believe how crisp your stamped design came out *jealous* Honestly I only have Essie Penny Talk as a copper polish for stamping.
ReplyDeleteYour stamping is always perfection! I love this color combo!
ReplyDeletePure stamping perfection!
ReplyDeleteLove the stamping and the colours. And you absolutely need Penny Talk in your life, that's probably my very favourite stamping polish!
ReplyDeleteThis is an absolutely STUNNING mani! ChG 2030 is my favorite gold for stamping. I do love Essie Penny Talk for a copper also, it is terrific!

ReplyDeleteThis is so gorgeous, and I LOVE this image too! When I saw these pics I almost thought it was the same colours as I used this stamp with ages ago, then I remembered I did a gold base with a blue stamp. This looks so stunning!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE the design and the colour combo! Well done xx
ReplyDeleteI was amazed at how crisp it came out as well O.o! It seems that's the biggest recommendation so I'll have to grab it I guess ^^.

Fingers crossed you find it (or is it part of their permanent range?).
ReplyDeleteI love this plate so much! I have a go-to gold and silver for stamping but no copper, so I'd be interested to know if you find one. :)
ReplyDeleteI really need to figure out more regular shades that stamp well- loving this combo!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing I'll order Essie Penny Talk since everyone recommends it - you can bet there will be plenty of showcasing when I do ;-).
ReplyDeleteEverything that holds a strong shimmer and/or is opaque in 1 coat will definitely work!
ReplyDeleteThanks Konstantina!
