Hi guys! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and are having a great week leading up to the New Year! This will be my last post of 2014 so I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of you lovely readers! Thank you for reading our posts and for all your comments, and thank you for sharing our lovely hobby! I hope to see you back next year!
Now, for my last post of the year I wanted to do something to match the end of year celebrations!Wanna see?
As a base for this manicure I used Catrice Sir, Yes Sir! An army green crème. Normally I would use black dark blue for the night sky, but when you are looking at fireworks the sky is never that dark, it gets lit up by all the sparkles. So to represent that, I thought I would go for green instead (am I making any sense here? I'm not sure, hah!). To represent the fireworks I picked multiple images of stars from BM plates 05, 14 and 21 and I stamped them with China glaze Passion. I thought the gold would look great over the green and I wanted to keep it all in one colour instead of the multicolour of fireworks (and the golden-white fireworks are my favourites!).
So, that's my symbolic representation of fireworks, I hope it makes sense haha, but even if it doesn't, I'm still happy with how this manicure turned out. I hope you guys like it too and I wish you all the best for 2015!!! -xxxxxx-
