Colors by Llarowe - Aliens & Outlaws

Hi guys! Today I've got a wonderful polish to show you that fits in perfectly with the cold weather we are having but also packs a sparkly punch to brighten up your day: Aliens & outlaws from Colors by Llarowe. I got this polish as part of my big Hypnotic polish haul (nope, I still haven't shown you all of them) and it's really special.
Get ready for picture overkill!
Aliens & outlaws is a glitter polish but it's made of such a fine glitter that you won't notice it's a glitter at first. It consists of the tiniest silver, black and holographic glitter in a clear base. The silver is so bright that it almost looks white sometimes, creating a very striking contrast with the black. Now the holographic glitter isn't very visible indoors, but in direct sunlight it's stunning! Shown here is 3 coats with topcoat. You could layer it over another polish, but as you can see it's very buildable on it's own. It does need a nice layer of topcoat though, because it dries a bit dull without it and you want to get maximum sparkle.

I must admit it really is a very strange polish, but I love that! It's very unique and very pretty!
What do you guys think? Tell me in the comments!

The pictures above were taken indoors in natural lighting. The pictures below were taken outdoors in the direct sunlight.

  1. That definitely is a fun polish :)
Do you think one coat could be used as a topper or is it too dense for that?

  4. I have this polish and adore it! It is so sparkly and pretty. And I love glitters that are dense enough to be worn alone.

This is different. I like the sparkle but I'm wondering how difficult this is to remove.

  14. It looks to be one of those polishes that REALLY hits it's stride when it's in the sun. The sun shows the multi-dimensional look! Beautiful photos!
