Double stamping over China Glaze I Brake For Colour

Hi loves! Today I have a fun and quick nailart look to show you. It involves a certain MoYou London plate I already predicted becoming a new favorite ;-) and one of the China Glaze Road Trip shades, called I Brake For Colour!

Let's check it out ^^.

The China Glaze Road Trip collection consists of quite a few creme shades, and while I would have loved for them to put more of the glorious shimmer in other polishes, the creme bases make for a great canvas. That's why I decided to use I Brake For Colour in this look - it's a nice bright backdrop to the black and white stamping!

To create this look, start with your basecolor. I used 2 coats of it and let it dry for a bit. I used MoYou London Artist 03 and Konad White + Cirque Colors Memento Mori for the stamping, making sure to rotate the stamp 180° when doing the second round. Because this design is so "open" it really shows the 2 layers.

How do you feel about this design? Is it something you'd wear? Tell me in the comments!

I was very lucky to meet Anna Gorelova in person in November when she presented this collection to public :) so I tested all of them. Gamayun is great but does not agree with my olive skintone. I love Sirin, I think it is a total must-have. My second pick is Sage (a weird translation... the meaning is closer to something like Wood Goblin or Sylvan Spirit)
Babai (meaning Bogeyman) is very interesting, too. a very complex shade, there's so much going on in it.
Did you receive the polish rings with the bottles?

  28. Have you seen the announced Valentine's Day collection?! It is so fun! I really like all their releases.

  29. The packaging is ADORABLE, I'm still a bit sad I didn't grab any of the limited Halloween shades since the owl was looking murderous on it, so cool. And now a Valentine's Day collection is coming as well with these cute pink owls!

  33. I think this one is a nice introduction to texture because of the more neutral shade. Thanks!

  34. Thank you Jennifer! While topcoating them is fun, I think their natural finish suits them best.

  36. Ooh that sounds so cool! I wish we had events like those in The Netherlands but no :(. I looove the complexity of Bogeyman, and yes I did receive the rings so I stare at those all the time ;).

yep, Dance Legend is, like, the main perk of living in Russia for a polish addict! :)
(well, we have El Corazon, too, but then there is this not so pretty story with their manager behavior in social media...)
I think the rings are an awesome idea! Like a small looking glass, this glass sphere helps to see all the shimmer, flakies and whatnot.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Haha we are all very jealous for you having direct access to this fun brand!

The rings really highlight all the shimmer and such though it's a slight shame the texture also disappears in the ring. Oh well, at least it's HOLO :D.

(could you maybe send an e-mail about those experiences? I'm wondering if we have the same "issues")
