Lacquester Proud Peacock

Hi loves! Today I am introducing you to a new to me indie brand, and while this particular shade isn't available for sale, if the quality of this one predicts anything I recommend you to check it out for sure.

Want to hear more about this shade?

First let me tell you how I got my paws on this beautiful shade. A while back I was chatting with some girls in a Facebook group about stamping, and Caroline (the indie creator) mentioned having so many issues with it. Having experience with a softer stamper to be easier to use and giving better results, I offered to send her my MoYou London stamper since I didn't use it anymore. Obviously I meant for it to be a gift but she insisted on returning something pretty and she surprised me with three (!) custom made beauties. They aren't named so I did that myself ;-).

Well, Lacquester Proud Peacock is one of 3 beautiful shades and boy, is this a complex beauty! I can assure you I didn't capture all the facets of this shade, so it's even better in real life. The base is a jelly teal shade which leans more blue, filled with all kinds of glitter - holographic, purple, and what seems to be blue/green duochrome glitter. And the shimmer! Ugh, so pretty. Because of the jelly base (and I don't like to wrap my tips with glitter) I decided to layer it over 1 coat of OPI I Saw.. You Saw.. We Saw.. Warsaw and used 2 coats of the Lacquester shade.

Application was great, the glitter spread easily and didn't feel bumpy or gritty at all. The finish was a bit matte so topcoat was definitely needed to shine things up. Other than that, perfect formula!

What do you think of this particular shade? And have you ever heard about Lacquester before? Tell me in the comments!
Lacquester is a hand-blended indie brand, created by Caroline in The Netherlands. She creates thermals, glitters, cremes and everything in between. The polishes are cruelty free and come in 10 ml. bottles. Price depends on polish finish.

You can connect with Lacquester on Instagram and purchase the shades through www.lacquester.com.

  2. Deborah, it was a kind gesture to send a complete stranger that stamper.
And where I'm from we have a saying "No good deed goes unpunished" ;-)
So I thought you deserved to be rewarded for your behaviour. Not so
    common these days, trust me.

Proud Peacock loves you, I can see
that. I always love seeing images, your pretty nails and great
photography skills. And this time with one of my creations. So you made
my day for the second time.

    Enjoy the polishes <3
