Hi loves! Today I have a fun layered nailart to show you, and it (obviously) involves some stamping :D. For my birthday my grandma always gives me a budget to order some goodies and this time I chose to get 4 MoYou London plates, One of them being MoYou London The Artist 03 - I've had my eye on that one for a while now! So I finally got to play with it a bit and here's what came out of it!
Doesn't it look mesmerizing ^^?
I already wore this a day before I added to it, but normally you could go straight to the 24k gold topcoat. I used my own creation, which has run a bit thick (hence the airbubbles), but any version is good, and if you don't have a goldleaf topcoat, a sparse gold glitter could work as well. Just make sure it isn't too full coverage so it gives the "peeking" effect.
Now, grab your stamping image and create the last step! I decided to rotate the image 180° on each nail, so it wouldn't be too repetitive. Can I just say I LOVE this image?! It will also be glorious for double stamping I think :D. Seal in with your favorite topcoat (G&G HK Girl Topcoat for me, never smudges) and you are done!
The combination of the gold leaf peeking through and the stark contrast of the black stamp against the pale base really makes this mani a winner for me. I'll definitely put this on my nails more often.
Do you like to combine a goldleaf topcoat with stamping? And what is your favorite goldleaf topcoat? Tell me in the comments!
I adore this look! So sophisticated but also fun. Your nails always look gorgeous!
