Swatches & Review - Too Fancy Lacquer Color4Nails exclusive Violette Etoilee

Hi loves! Today I have a gorgeous shade from Too Fancy Lacquer to show you. It's a brand new exclusive created for Color4Nails called Violette Etoilee, so if you want to grab this you should head over there :). This isn't the only TFL exclusive for Color4Nails, remember Orchadia

Let's take a look!

If you've been reading my site a bit longer, you know I love Too Fancy Lacquer and the perfect formula that this brand is known for. Violette Etoilee is no exception! Applying evenly, the first coat has a slight sheerness to it, but the second layer covers it up beautifully. I also don't mind that it's slightly more sheer on the first layer, as it makes the formula easy to control and spreading nicely.

The finish isn't super shiny, so topcoat comes in handy. I used G&G HK Girl topcoat to finish it off. As you can tell, the holographic effect is STRONG! Gorgeous. It's linear and shows up easily though my artificial lighting does help a lot.

  25. What images did you use in your attempts? I think the key is having a wide, spaced design that allows enough of the layers to show.
