Top 10 polishes of 2014!

Hi loves! While it's 2 days into 2015 already, today I want to finish all my favorites posts with my top 10 regular brand polishes of 2014. These might not all be released last year, but they entered my stash during it so I figured that would count as well ;-). They are in order of oldest to newest post. Let me know which one you like best, and what your personal favorite is of 2014!

  4. I've seen OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around on a lot of lists this year and it's making me want to pull it out and use it, haha! This is a great list, I see some lemmings on here - and OMG, your stamping over Nars Anarchy is FLAWLESS!

Yes!! I love the multi-shimmers and the gold flecking that went on this year. Great picks!!

  7. My favorite of these is (of course) Illamasqua Facet. I didn't include it in my own top 10, because even if I only got it in 2014, it was already released the year before (and in my own top 10 there are only polishes that were released and worn in the respective year) :-)

All of these are beautiful! Love what you did with Nars Anarchy. OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around is definitely the neutral of the year!

  10. Facet is so pretty! It is kind of similar to Choo-Choo Choose You, which I also love.

  18. Fantastic list! I'm so glad that I own those two Illamasquas...also Holy Diver. Thank you for being such a Dance Legend enabler this year! Also...I'm very impressed that you could pick 10 polishes. I (obviously) do not possess that sort of decisiveness.

  19. I love these top lists. I always find polishes to put in my wishlist :)

  20. Bummer :-( and the display is gone already so I can't help you either :-(.

  21. Yes, I loooove Cetraria (and the others from that collection). Oh my, those Illamasqua shades.. they are the most lovely polishes I bought in a while. Especially Melange, such buttery goodness. If you ever need help grabbing it, let me know! It seems nearly impossible to buy Illamasqua varnishes now in the US.

  22. Selecting NARS Anarchy as a favorite was a sneaky way to put in one more favorite nail art post lol ;-).

Yeah OPI DBNMA is a true favorite, the bottle is showing usage and that doesn't happen a lot to me - but the creamy base is such a perfect backdrop for nail art!

  23. Thanks Cait! And yes, I don't own any other shades from Illamasqua so it shows how much I love the 2 I do have right :D?

  24. :D glad you still like it so much! And yes, I was struggling with that as well but in the end decided to just go with year of posting.

  25. Thank you! And yes, I kinda want to put on the same exact look again with that NARS shade.

  26. It's SUCH a beauty! It sucks Illamasqua polishes are harder and harder to get these days - there's only one e-tailer I know of that ships them to Europe, but they don't ship to the US.

  27. They share a slight resemblance indeed, kinda murky yet fascinating :).

  28. Thank you! I used to have terrible nails, it's all about giving them some love!

  29. :D please do Kellie, especially those Dance Legends hold some gems!

  30. You know my offer sweetheart! I'm happy to enable people lol.

  31. It is ♥ I can just stare at the bottle and be happy

  32. Thank you Jenny! Yes, Dance Legend is such a fun and versatile brand! And be warned - there are some beauties on their way again to me ;-). Hmm, it wasn't easy but I'll admit, I had more focus on indies this year so this list was a bit easier.

  33. I was actually looking at Anna Gorelova's blog yesterday to see what was new with Dance Legend...MISTAKE! There are some really nice things, so I know you are going to give me lemmings!

  34. Looking at her blog is never a good idea - I always want EVERYTHING I see there.

  35. Aw but thanks for thinking of me. I so wish Catrice would follow Essence into the UK market

  36. I know! I was so sad when Sephora stopped carrying Illamasqua - I had just discovered my love for them!
