Hi loves! Twice a year, Catrice updates their core assortment and releases new goodies. Obviously I always have to check for new fun polishes and this time I brought home 2 shades. I wasn't as impressed with this assortment update - there are a few new polish lines but they keep increasing prices and I'm just not sure if it's still worth it.

Catrice (S)wimbledon is a turqouise shade, almost neon and with a very fine silver shimmer running through it. But, even though my pictures might convince you otherwise, the shimmer isn't really to be seen in real life. It might have to do with the opacity of the formula - you could get away with 1 careful coat! Application wise it's kinda thick. I used 2 here and topped it with G&G HK Girl topcoat.
Catrice All You Need Is Pink is a medium pink, kinda warm in tone filled with a silver shimmer that seems to have some gold specks, too. The shimmer is definitely visible in real life! Again, very opaque formula, though slightly thinner tha (S)wimbledon - 2 coats were needed for proper opacity. Topped with G&G HK Girl topcoat.
These 2 new shades are a nice addition to the range and I'm impressed with the opacity of both of them. Nice, creamy formulas that apply well. The brush has changed (again) but for the better this time. It's less rounded on the bottom and slightly wider than the previous brush, but it's easier to control and gives a nice rounded each at the cuticle.
My favorite is All You Need Is Pink because the shimmer remains visible, but if you are looking for a fun and bright turquoise shade (S)wimbledon is your pick!
Which one do you like best? And have you ever tried any Catrice polishes? Tell me in the comments!
