Gold & Brown Gradient

Hi guys! Today I've got a manicure for you that is actually inspired by one of you! A little while ago I showed you my swatches of NOPI Sea how far you go. In the comments someone suggest she would wear it with a brown crème, I have since traded away the NOPI polish because I was a bit disappointed with it. But the idea of the gold with a brown crème polish stuck with me, so that's what I've got for you today!
Wanna see more?

As I mentioned above, I do not have the gold NOPI polish any more, But I do have something very much like it (another reason I swapped away the NOPI): Maybelline 445, a gold foil polish. for this manicure I dabbed a bit of the gold polish on a piece of paper and used a make-up sponge to create a glittery gradient over P2 Soulful, a brown crème.

I really like the contrast of the glittery gold with the smooth brown, I think it brings out the best of both polishes. What do you guys think? I hope you like it and see you next week!

  20. Thanks Valesha!
I sometimes cheat a bit. If the glitter polish is very sheer I just paint my tips with it first and then make the gradient :D It won't be as bumpy this way
