Swatches & Review - A-England The Blessed Damozel

Hi loves! Today I have to share a luscious new shade from A-England with you, called The Blessed Damozel. It's the most recent addition to the Heavenly Quotes collection and well, it's stunning. My camera really focusses on all the individual shimmer parts but in reality it has an almost velvety finish to it - check out the gorgeous swatches my friend Emily did! This shade was kindly sent to me by Hypnotic Polish, my favorite indie stockist!

A-England The Blessed Damozel

Yup, that looks yummy huh ^^?

Like I said, A-England The Blessed Damozel has a luxurious and sultry velvety finish. Not regarding shine, but because the shimmer particles are SO small. It has the lit from within quality and is a perfect vampy shade. It reminds me of A-England Queen of Scots.

The formula was a bit on the thick side in my opinion, I've had better experiences with other shades from A-England. But still, it isn't hard to work with, you'll barely need 2 coats for opacity and it levels out nicely. It doesn't dry shiny though - I used a nice layer of topcoat to gloss it up!

Thicker formula aside, A-England has added a great shade to their range, if you love purple this is a shade you'll need!

  4. This is really so beautiful! It looks like it's shimmering from within <3 I didn't have issue with the formula, but I haven't tried out many a-Englands before!

I really really love this shade, maybe because it's my favorite color. I've never tried a England, but I've heard nothing but good things of the brand. So I just added damozel to my hypnotic cart.
