Hi loves! Another Dance Legend "Tuesday" post, this time on Wednesday ;-). It's all about the Dance Legend Glass collection today, which consists of 12 jelly shades. They become fairly opaque but you could also use them for a jelly sandwich for example.
Let's take a look!
Dance Legend Glass 1055 is a deep dark green shade. It's a bit darker actually but my bright lighting lightens up jellies ^^. At first it applies quite streaky and patchy, but after 3 coats you get an nice and even result, with a good squishy finish and some VNL. It doesn't try particularly shiny so I used a topcoat to finish off.
Dance Legend Glass 1058 is a purple shade - in the bottle it looks like a redtoned brown, on the first layer it looks bright purple but after 3 coats you end up with a grape color, very pretty. You can see on my tips how purple it is at first! This covers better than 1055, I barely could see any VNL after 3 coats. Again, topped with topcoat for a luscious shiny finish.
The formula on these could be better - if you want to use them for a jelly sandwich they might be too streaky in single layers. Build up alone they provide a gorgeous squishy finish. While being a bit streaky at first, the formula is easy to handle. It isn't too thin and clean-up didn't really give issues either. I do suspect these might stain so be careful and maybe double up on basecoat when wearing these.
What do you think of jellies? Love them, hate them? Tell me in the comments!
