Hi loves! Today I'll be sharing a new to me indie brand called Tami, hailing from Scotland. Petra from PrettyPolish was sweet enough to send me these, and I'm quite pleased with them! Unfortunately, there are only 3 shades available right now and I can't really find any info other shades will be coming soon.
Let's take a closer look!
Tami Gleneagles Glamour is a muted pink/lavender shade, it has a holographic finish with added gold glitter. Such a feminine shade! I really like how it's both an eyecatcher and subdued at the same time - depending on the amount of light either the holographic finish or the glitter will stand out more. I used 2 easy coats and topcoat.
Tami Lady of Lomond is a gorgeous minty blue shade with a holographic finish and added teal glitter. Very soft looking color, while still packing a punch with the holographic effect. The glitter stands out a bit more because the color is bolder, but depending on the light it will be overshadowed by the holographic finish. Slightly thinner in formula than Gleneagles Glamour but still only 2 coats needed, and topped with topcoat.
Tami Skibo Sunset is a bright raspberry pink shade with a holographic finish. Pinks like these make me happy! It does stand out a bit because it doesn't have the glitter the other shades have, but it's just as lovely in formula - 2 easy coats and topcoat.
Overall conclusion
For a first experience with a new brand, I'm impressed! The bottle is pretty with a printed logo, though I would have liked a different brushcap (these are the same width as the bottle). The brush itself is not too thick nor thin and round, just how I like it. Formula was good on all three though Gleneagles Glamour had the best formula. I actually really like all three shades and can't determine a favorite.
What do you think of these 3 shades? See anything you like? Tell me in the comments!

And again your swatches are making me drool!!
ReplyDeleteI've seen these polishes on some blogs and I'm so tempted to buy them, but I'm kind of afraid there is too much going on with the first two. The last one (the fuchsia) is the hardest to resist for me... but how can I buy just one? It'll be so lonely!! Decisions... decisions... ;)
Ik heb de eerste twee en ze zijn echt ZO wauw. Was verrast hoe ze opdroogden, zoveel textuur!
ReplyDeleteThe first two shades are so pretty and unique!
ReplyDeleteI really love the first two shades with that added glitter sparkle!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous! These brand is new to me, too and I like what I see! The glitters are just gorgeous. They seems so unique even though the colors are so popular this year. Beauuutiful swatches!
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely!! I love how they sparkle ;0).
ReplyDeleteOh, I'd seen these beauties - they're so gorgeous! And I love your swatches, hun!
ReplyDeleteSkibo Sunset is my favourite on you - perfect with your skin tone!
Ooh pretty, I really like the middle shade :)
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI've bought one but haven't tried it yet. Very pretty on you!
ReplyDeleteI'm not even a fan of pink, but Tami Skibo Sunset has my heart racing with how beautiful it looks.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked these too! I really love Gleneagles Glamour on you. Have to agree on the brush cap though. The bottle doesn't do them justice!
ReplyDeleteGleneagles Glamour is EVERYTHING! I think I need it!
ReplyDeleteOh my LORD! I'm in love with all 3 but Gleneagles Glamour is so gorgeous, it's not even funny!! That's unfortunate about the brush cap though. I'm not a fan of those types..
ReplyDeleteI don't even know which one I like best... They're all jaw-dropping!
ReplyDeleteI really loved this collection and you made me want to get it back out and play with them again!
ReplyDeleteOh wow these are so pretty! Amazingly gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with you!
ReplyDeleteMine as well - that flecked effect is just so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYup, for me as well :D I love it so much!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicole, the matte finish really makes them extra gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThanks Katherine, glad you like them!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteI agree Lisa :).
ReplyDeleteIsn't the brand just amazing? I really love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cheyenne!
ReplyDeleteAah yes, that comes in a polish bottle as well, right?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I must admit, the most cuticle protecters smell pretty bad, kinda "fishy"? It's the ammonia I think.
ReplyDeleteThanks girl, I agree! It's a bit more interesting than just a flat out stamping design.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much my dear <3 your sweet compliments always make me smile!
ReplyDeleteThank you Stacy!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Mina! I've been loving the double nailarts, it makes it so much more fun to look at than just a regular stamp. And with a cuticle protector it isn't that much more trouble either. I can really recommend a product like the one I use, Dance Legend now has one as well I noticed!
ReplyDeleteI still adore those plates, though I haven't grabbed any new ones in a while. Thanks An!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Did you end up with a saran marble?
ReplyDeleteAww thank you Jessica :D!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks girl, you are right, it would make a gorgeous silk scarf I think!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kellie ♥. And yes, the defender is amazing, I can't believe I ever lived without such a thing. Did you end up liking yours?
ReplyDeleteIt definitely works great, I just don't get along with the brush, lol! Glad you like it :-). Yeah Liquid Palisade sounded great, the price tag though? Not so much...
ReplyDeleteI'll admit sometimes I just brush a bit of the defender on my finger, just to peel it off again. Thanks Ashlee!
ReplyDeleteThat's what sunshine does to people ;-)!
ReplyDeleteAah yes, I think I have that one too, from a few years ago actually, but I never really used it since it dries so slowly. It's nice you don't get that much of a mess, and it definitely depends on the kind of polishes you use. Like stamping with Konad black is guaranteed to give a clean up mess since it's so pigmented, but a gradient with 2 soft creme colors isn't all that troubling. It's definitely extra helpful for me for the clean up of my dominant hand as it has happened numerous times I was working with a q-tip and messed up my entire nail because I was clumsy..
Thanks Em! I highly recommend it :).
ReplyDeleteYes! I love it :D I am going to legit try to do some nail art now! It's also good for a peel-off base coat for glitters!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Roselynn! It's such an easy method.
ReplyDeleteAww, that's really really sweet of you!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much ♥!
ReplyDeleteThat's really neat!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! Means a lot to me :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Jenny! I love the stark contrast of the black against the periwinkle.
ReplyDelete:D thanks Lothwen ♥
ReplyDeleteIt is huh? I love it!
ReplyDeleteDank je wel :).
ReplyDeleteI can see why your concerned, but let me promise you in real life that's not the case. These pictures always focus more on each individual part of the polish, so for example the glitter stands out more. In real life (and from a normal distance) it blends together so it isn't as overpowering.
ReplyDeleteDe glitter is behoorlijk bumpy idd, maar gelukkig fixt topcoat een hoop :).
ReplyDeleteThanks Maria, I agree!
ReplyDeleteAww, you are making me blush Lucie ♥!
ReplyDeleteThanks Simona, I do too :).
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I agree, the glitters are the eyecatchers here.
ReplyDeleteI do too ♥
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Mina, you are always so sweet ♥.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ashlee, the contrasting glitter makes it a standout shade!
ReplyDeleteThanks Shelby!
ReplyDeleteWhich one did you get? And have you tried it yet :)?
ReplyDeleteThen you really need it lol, if you like it that much ;-).
ReplyDeleteI agree Em, the shade of pink is made for me it seems!
ReplyDeleteYou do need it, these would be so amazing on you!
ReplyDeleteSucks huh? If these came in lovely square bottles with a rubberized regular brush cap.. it'd be divine!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like them so much Lothwen!
ReplyDeleteNow that's a really lovely compliment ♥!
ReplyDeleteThank you Katherine :).
ReplyDeleteThanks Kerry!
