Does that spark your interest ^^?
LilypadLacquer Diamond in The Rough is a golden microglitter that has some serious holo effect going on. This is BLING to the max! I absolutely love it and not only because of how the endresult looks, also because the formula is perfect. 2 thin coats are all you need, it applies evenly, easy, doesn't go anywhere you don't want it to.. only minor let down is that the finish is slightly gritty. However, it looks gorgeous even without topcoat, like a golden texture, so I ain't complaining!
LilypadLacquer Grey Diamonds is a blueish, hint of purple leaning warm grey shade filled with a lovely sparkle. It looks mostly silver but sparkles blue and purple as well. The let down here was the formula - it is sheer. I needed 3 coats, not too thin or I would've needed 4. It does apply smoothly, but I wish it was a bit creamier and opaque in 2 coats.
LilypadLacquer Purple Diamonds isn't entirely color accurately pictured here. As always, my camera turns a warm purple into a cold blue and I tried to adjust the colors, but have only succeeded a bit. Still, even without the exact right shade of purple visible, you can see how gorgeous the finish is. It has the same kind of flakie, larger particle sparkle that makes it seem as if it glows from within. 2 coats were all I needed.
LilypadLacquer Teal Diamonds might be the sparkliest after Diamond in The Rough. This one immediately grabbed my attention and it is such a stunner! I used 3 coats to get it a bit more intense - the base is slightly sheer but in an even, good way. It doesn't apply patchy or uneven at all!
LilypadLacquer White Diamonds is like the name suggests, a white polish. The formula is quite thick and pigmented, I used 2 coats for my pictures. You might catch a hint of VNL but I think that adds to the squishy finish this one has. The blue/purple sparkle breaks the surface though it's terrible to capture on camera!
I love all the different shades I was sent, but how they still look like they belong together because of their sparkly finish. Both formula and colorwise Diamond in The Rough is my absolute favorite, but Teal Diamonds comes close! The formula of Grey Diamonds was a bit disappointing, I might try and layer it sometime. If you are looking for a white with a punch, White Diamonds is a great one! All purple lovers will fall head over heels in love with Purple Diamonds - such a vibrant beauty.
How do you like these 5 shades? Any favorites? Tell me in the comments!
