Jessica Ava & HARE Own Your Opulence

Hi loves! Today I have a post from the vault - last weekend was spent in Warsaw and I didn't get to swatch anything for this week. Bad blogger, I know! However, I still had this cute lilac look waiting to be posted so I figured why not share it now :-)?

Cute and colorful!

My base is a lovely lilac shade from Jessica. I won this polish in a giveaway by Ninja Polish ^^ and figured it would be the perfect base for this fun topper. I hadn't worn HARE Own Your Opulence in a while, and looking back at these pictures I am wondering why I don't wear it more often.

So the lilac shade is Jessica Ava, it was surprisingly sheer unfortunately. I needed 3 coats and it didn't level very well either :-(. There's a faint silver shimmer visible in the bottle but it doesn't translate to the nail at all. So that's why the topper came out to play! I used 1 simple and easy coat of HARE Own Your Opulence and it immediately made everything better ♥. Just look at those pastel colored glitters! The black pops so nicely against all the pastel shades.

I don't think I have much more to share about this look, besides the fact I thought it looked cute as a button ^^.

What do you think of this look? Do you think it's cute as well? Tell me in the comments!

The Hare topper is so pretty. The shapes and colors look great on top of the lilac.

  8. It's definitely cute! Just when I think I might be getting tired of glitter toppers, I end up seeing another one I love. Might as well just admit I'm devoted to them ;)

  10. I just love the base colors you choose for your Hare glitters!!! I tend to coordinate colors, but it can get a bit tedious. Definitely going to try Own Your Opulence over a lavender now!!!

  13. HARE polishes are the best! I love Own Your Opulence so much, I have it but haven't worn it yet. The glitter colors reminds me of a dress that Carly Rae Jepson wore to an award show one time that I just loved.

  15. Very cute! Hope Warsaw was fun! I've never been to Poland - since my family ties are in Germany and Czech Republic we tend to go there, but I hope to visit sometime.

  16. All of these are gorgeous!! La Tropicale is my favorite though, it's so saturated and vibrant!! I love the rainbow blobs!

  19. I love the combination, I feel like I'd have struggled to pair a base with it so I think you did a really good job!

  25. Aww, that's a bummer! It's really one of my favorite brands.

  26. Thanks so much! Surprise though, these are taken under artificial lighting ;-). I highly recommend this set!

  27. Thanks so much Allie! Though my artificial lighting has been annoying me a bit lately, it's a great way to capture holo without having the weather working with you.

  28. Thanks so much Mina ♥ don't they look a bit like those fruity popsicles? Somehow I haven't experienced a longer drying time with the blobbicures yet.

  39. I think the black glitter is a great contrast in between the soft colors.

  40. Lol, I kind afeel the same way - there are just a few I really use, though!

  41. I highly recommend it, it's one of the polishes I actually use more often :P.

  42. Thanks girl! Depending on the look you want to achieve coordinating colors can be very gorgeous, but for toppers I like a bit of contrast :).

  43. Thanks Em, I already thought you'd like this :D

  44. We had a wonderful time in Warsaw for sure! A very nice city, lots to see and do and I liked the variety in restaurants and everything.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Oh you should wear it soon! It's such a fun topper!

  46. It was a lot of fun! Poland isn't expensive so it's a great destination if you want to visit a new place but aren't willing to spend a lot, and the culture is very versatile.

  47. Thanks Alice :)! It's a versatile topper but it can be tricky to find a shade that allows all the glitter to pop.
