Swatches & Review - A-England Rossetti's Goddess collection

Hi loves! Today I am treating you to swatches of the newest A-England collection called Rossetti's Goddess, made up of four beautiful shades. They are inspired inspired by artwork by pre-raphaelite artist Dante Gabriel Rossetti. As always the formula on these polishes is great! If you want to grab some of these, make sure to head over to PrettyPolish where they are readily available.

A-England Captive Goddess is a chameleon - sometimes looking icy blue, other times more silver, the basecolor changes depending on the lighting you are in. Paired with the blue flash and subtle yet rich holographic finish, this one will grab your attention. 2 easy coats and topcoat.

A-England Incense Burner is a dark beauty. The base seems to be a deep brown shade, which is glowing with a vibrant plum/green shifting shimmer. The colorshift is very obvious and attractive. The formula was a tad more sheer on the first coat, but perfectly opaque in 2 coats, finished with topcoat.

A-England Jane Morris is a steel grey shade, quite dark and cold if that makes sense. Just like Captive Goddess it has a contrasting flash, purple this time and standing out so well against the basecolor! Also dusted with a holographic sparkle for that extra oomph. 2 easy coats and topcoat.

A-England Rossetti's Goddess Proserpine

A-England Proserpine is the one I was most curious about - it's a teal shade so that shouldn't be a surprise huh ;-)? Another thought that occured immediately was "how does it compare to Saint George?". Well, they are miles apart though both stunning. Proserpine is way more blue leaning while Saint George is definitely on the green side of teal. Proserpine has a little less impressive holographic finish, but still looks rich in finish. 2 coats and topcoat.

Overall conclusion
As always, A-England manages to release beautiful polishes that have that extra pretty finish and great formula. The inspiration behind the polishes is always interesting to read up on (but not necessary to enjoy these shades!). My favorites are Incense Burner because of that gorgeous colorshifting shimmer, and Proserpine because well, it's a teal.

These are so pretty! I haven't tried the brand yet but maybe I should! I like Incense Burner best also, and I also have a slight obsession with incense so it's perfect!
