Hi loves! Today I am bringing you the newest collection from Cirque Colors, it's the Juicy Collection! It features 6 squishy holographic shades in tropical colors, and they will make you long for white beaches, blue oceans and pink cocktails. As we tend to do more often with collections we both receive, my friend Emily is reviewing these as well today, so if you want to see her luscious swatches, please make sure to visit Very Emily as well!
Hmmm, ready to take another sip?
Cirque Colors Concord is a royal purple with a rainbow holographic finish. This one was the most opaque out of all of these, 1 coat was basically enough already though I did 2 so I was consistent with all my swatches. No topcoat.
Cirque Colors Framboise is a raspberry pink with a rainbow holographic finish. Such a happy shade! 2 coats, no topcoat.
Cirque Colors La Tropicale is a lush teal with a rainbow holographic finish. I like how green this one leans, though it's not green enough to not be a teal. Very strong in the holo department. 2 coats, no topcoat.
Cirque Colors Limencello is a lemon yellow with a rainbow holographic finish. It seems to lean a little towards pea green, though it definitely stays in the yellow territory. Flawless formula, 2 coats, no topcoat.
Cirque Colors Royal Hawaiian is an aqua blue with a rainbow holographic finish. This one had a strong metallic flash, they all have that a bit but with this shade it was particularly visible. Very pigmented so beware of staining and make sure you use a good basecoat! 2 coats, no topcoat.
Cirque Colors Valencia is a mandarin orange with a rainbow holographic finish. A surprise favorite! There's just something so luscious about that shade of orange. 2 coats, no topcoat.
Overall conclusion
I haven't really said anything about the formula yet, so here I go: UH-MA-ZING. Seriously, so smooth, even, pigmented yet squishy. All shades needed just 2 coats, and not thick coats but 2 regular coats, to be this perfect. There was a hint of VNL but it just adds to the effect and I would highly recommend NOT adding a third to keep the squish alive! The polish is easy to control, doesn't slide around or get patchy, and I barely had to do any clean-up. Really, can all polishes have such an amazing formula please?
The shades are so fitting for Summer, my picks are La Tropicale because well, it's a teal, and Valencia because it's just so fruity and happy.
Bonus nailart
I wanted to bring these shades together because well, they resemble a rainbow! So I put down a white base (after finishing I wish I went with Cirque Colors Carpe Diem since it's so creamy!) and using the polish brush I created blobs <3. Very easy yet effective, just wait a bit and seal in with topcoat and you are done!
What do you think of these 6 shades? Anything you like? Tell me in the comments!
Cirque Colors is sold through their own website. The Cirque Colors Juicy Collection retails for $13 per bottle, worldwide shipping available. There are also various stockists selling Cirque polishes so be sure to check if you can shop more locally, too.
