Swatches & Review - Lacquester Summer Fun

Hi loves! Today I have a fun polish for you.. Lacquester Summer Fun to be exact ;-). This shade is quite the chameleon and I am curious to read your comments on what color you'd call this polish. Yup, it's an interesting polish for sure!

Lacquester Summer Fun is part of the upcoming summer collection. There isn't much info available about that yet but I still wanted to show you this already. It'll probably be released end of May, beginning of June.

I've chosen to wear it by itself and used 4 thin coats for the look you see here. In my opinion, this polish is kinda colorless? It isn't white, it isn't grey, it's something in between maybe? What's truly eyecatching, is the shimmery finish. There is a golden flash and holographic sparkle, which makes it oh so pretty. Application was good. Please do take the time to let the coats dry in between or it'll get bulky, but other than that no issues. It's not runny or thin which is nice, because this kind of shimmer/golden flecks can be tough to clean-up when you get it on your skin.

Another way to wear this polish is by layering it over a basecolor. I used 1 thin coat over Mischo Babylove (swatches coming soon!) and it looked SO adorable! Like candy with sparkles ^^.

Beautiful! Light taupe grey? Greyish beige?
I love this golden shimmer. Add golden shimmer to any polish and I'm sold ))

It's a very interesting polish indeed, it looks like it's somewhat grayish with a tinge of tan, maybe. Oh well, it's gorgeous none the less.

  5. I do love the shade but don't think I'd stand the four coats hahah ;)
Over other shades, though, it's quite a cutie - very much like candy, yes!

  14. This totally reminds me of Prosecco (sp?) from Sinful Shine but better. Theres so much sparkle I love it! Id call it a nude leaning tan when worn alone.
