Swatches & Review - Mischo Beauty Babylove, Love on Top and XO

Hi loves! Remember the three beautiful shades from Mischo Beauty I showed you last week? I'm back with the remaining three shades! This time it's all about the Summer 2015 collection consisting of 3 pink shades. There's Babylove which is (surprise surprise!) a baby pink shade, a bright pink shade called Love on Top and to finish it off there's XO, a peachy pink.

I also did some nailart with these shades so keep on reading!

Mischo Beauty Babylove is a lovely baby pink creme. The formula is nice and even in 2 coats (any ridges you might notice in my pictures is because I suck at painting my nails sometimes) and dries smoothly. I quite like this shade! Reminds me of candy.

Mischo Beauty Love on Top is a bright (neon?) pink shade, this is more jelly in formula. I used 3 coats and could still see some VNL though it didn't bother me. It dries a bit matte so topcoat is a must. The 3 coats applied easy but it's a bit on the thin side so wipe down your brush a bit more than you're used to so you can avoid cuticle pooling!

Mischo Beauty XO is a peachy pink and quite hard to capture. In daylight it looks more pink, under my artificial light it pulls more orange. Either way, I adore this shade! Not all peach shades look that flattering on me and this one is both good looking and a breeze to apply. 2 easy coats and some topcoat to finish your look!

Overall conclusion
These 3 shades look gorgeous and while the may not be the most unique, the formula is great and I just love the hefty square bottles the come in. My favorite is XO (there will be some more nailart with that shade this week!) followed by Babylove. I might not wear Love on Top as much but it's a gorgeous bright shade.

Bonus nailart
For this look I used 2 coats of XO on my index and pinky, and 2 coats of H&M Love At First Sight on my middle and ring finger. Then, using all 3 shades I did some drybrushing or distressed technique over the white. The stamping image is from the Born Pretty Store L015 plate. The little black pearls are also from Born Pretty Store and come in this little pot. Fun thing is I didn't even know there were black pearls in there, I thought it was just multicolored rhinestones! The quality of the pearls is good, they are nice and small and didn't bleed when topcoated.

What do you think of this little collection? And how do you like the nailart? Tell me in the comments!
Mischo Beauty is available through www.mischobeauty.com. Kitiya ships to both the United States and Canada. International shoppers are advised to check out BeautyBar. Polishes retail for $18 and a bottle holds 15ml. The formula is 5-free!

  5. I know these are shades that I probably already own from a different brand but they look so pretty! Like tropical flowers...and your nail art is cool too!

  6. They look so creamy - it's like you said, they may not wow the world in terms of shade, but the finish is lovely and if the formula is, too, then we're good :D
Love the nail art, too :D

  7. When it comes to cremes, I think it's near impossible to come across a colour that hasn't been done before, but I agree with you, it's the formula that matters. Nice to hear that the formula is good, especially for the higher price tag. Also, that nail art is stunning, love the contrast of neon/brights with black and white. :)

  11. These look like great color for summer! I like neons polishes but there's something about the pastel versions that speaks right to my heart.

  20. Thanks Meghan! Yeah, when a polish comes at a price like this it needs to be great in formula or I wouldn't recommend it. And thank you!
