Double Review - Hit The Bottle stamping polish & Born Pretty Store stamping plates

Hi loves! Today I have a fun double review for you. Maria from Hypnotic Polish kindly sent me 4 mini bottles of Hit The Bottle Stamping polish. These are well pigmented, metallic finished stamping polishes, also available are creme finish black and white.

What better way to test new polishes than using new Born Pretty Store plates? That's what I thought!

Hot The Bottle Blue-tiful is a bit of a chameleon, in my pictures it looks lighter than it was in real life but the bright lighting lit up the metallic finish so well. Combined with this basecolor I think it looks very oceanic!

Born Pretty Store BP-43 is a round plate with 4 quadrants filled with a pattern. I chose the star/flower shape as it seemed the best fit for the stamping polish and basecolor. The basecolor is one I grabbed during my trip to Warsaw, it's from Wibo and has a nice, 2 coat formula with a lovely sparkle.

Hit The Bottle Rusty Nail is - exactly as the name describes - a beautiful rust color. Not too orange, but with enough red tones to make this a staple color for Fall when the leafs come down again! The consistency is good, not too thin so you can scrape your plate without being to careful, but not so thick you need more to cover your entire stamping image.

Born Pretty Store BP-L008 is one of the rectangular plates Born Pretty Store sells, and I have actually used the plate before already. I tried a few of the images on paper and everything transferred nicely and crisp. The top row images are reminding me of henna patterns, that's why I chose one of those designs to use with Hit The Bottle Rusty Nail over a base of Dance Legend Gel Effect 1031 (review coming soon).

Overall conclusion
My experience so far with Hit The Bottle stamping polishes is a positive one! Both had a nice formula, not too thick nor too thin, and the coverage is great. The metallic finish always plays so nice against a creme base and especially Rusty Nail will be used more often!

The Born Pretty Store plates are of good quality like I have come to expect from them. I like how they come in colorful sleeves now though you can't identify the exact plate without taking it off.

What do you think of these 2 looks? And which one do you like better? Tell me in the comments!
