Swatches & Review - Dance Legend Gel Effect 1031 & 1036

Hi loves! Another Friday, another Dance Legend review to share with you :-). This time I am showing 2 more shades from the Gel Effect range. There are 3 sets of Gel Effect polishes available, 2 collections are full size and one is made up of minis. My picks come from the Gel Effect 2 set!

Let's check it out ^^.

Dance Legend Gel Effect 1031 is one of those shades you can use all the time. As a base for glitters, as a base for nailart, when you are in need of a nice and neutral shade. It photographed incredibly yellow on me which it is not in real life, but this was the closest I could get with color correcting. Please make sure to Google this shade and don't rely on my swatches too much! Sorry about that!

Formula is good, it flows easily and builds up in 2 coats. It levels well, especially for such a light shade.

Dance Legend Gel Effect 1036 is a gorgeous shade of turquoise. When I have the time this will be my base for trying out the waterspotted technique! It's such a summery color and I will be using this more often for sure.

Formula is just as good as 1031 - 2 coats, self leveling and easy to apply.

Overall conclusion
I am happy to have added these to my stash, A nice creme finish will always have my interest and these colors are classics! 1031 will make a great base for lots of manicures, and 1036 just makes me happy :-).

What do you think of these 2 Gel Effect shades? Do you like them? Tell me in the comments!
Dance Legend is sold through their own webshop, and ships internationally. Dance Legend Gel Effect shades come in 15 ml. bottles and retail for $7.

  5. I'm assuming the gel effect here is that they are extra shiny? It sure looks like it!

  12. No, not weird at all! And accurate in this case :). Ugh, I've tried it for a bit but my polish didn't break up, I think the spray I used is too strong.

  14. Shiny and a bit more "plump", but I personally think it's just smart marketing ;-).
