Chevron nail art with Lacquester Greeench

Hi loves! Today I have a quick post showing you some nail art I wore the other day. I wanted to do some fun nails for the weekend when we visited Foodstock with friends. It's a local version of a foodtruck festival - foodtrucks aren't that common here, basically the only times you can find them are at music festivals or these special foodtruck festivals. I had a delicious hotdog and some tasty nachos along with some beers, too bad the weather wasn't as great though.

Let's take a closer look!

To create this look I started with a base of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. This greytoned white has recently caught my attention again. I like how it's more cooltoned than my usual white base. It's a very thin formula though and I always end up needing 3 thin coats for opacity. Because of the thin formula it dries really quickly so it doesn't bother me that much.

After it dried I used Lacquester Greeench and applied 1 coat. Isn't it just lovely how you can see all the multichrome flakie bits against the base? It really stands out this way I think. On my ring and middle finger I proceeded with some stamping. For this I used MoYou London Fashionista 04. Can you believe this was the first time I stamped a chevron design? I was always so scared it would end up crooked. But it turned out just fine, so yay!

To finish the look I sealed in the design with the Cirque Colors Matte Look topcoat. And it didn't even smear my stamping design!

What do you think of this combination? Do you prefer stamping a chevron design or using vinyls? Tell me in the comments!
