Let's take a closer look!
Dance Legend Binary Alexandra is a medium blue, not really navy but not as cobalt as it shows in my pictures either. I actually took a daylight picture of this as well and it's much more true to color. Check the end of the post for the image!
The formula was very good, the pigmentation is great and it applied nicely in 2 coats.
Dance Legend Binary Natalia is a dusty rose with a hidden shimmer. This felt a bit thicker and it didn't apply as nicely for me. It didn't really want to level it seemed! I used 2 coats for opacity.
Dance Legend Binary Olga is a dusty mint green with a hidden shimmer. Just like Natalia this felt a tad thicker and was a bit more difficult to get nice and even. Again 2 coats for opacity.
Dance Legend Binary Sofia is a bright red with an orange undertone. This is very in your face! I've worn this both as a mani as well as a pedi and it looked so nice against my skintone. Great formula, similar to Alexandra. 2 coats for opacity.
I have tried some of these shades for 2/3 days and must say I wasn't wowed by the wear time, but not disappointed either. Normally after 1 or 2 days I have tipwear, and with these I managed 2 full days without it. Unfortunately on day 3 the tipwear started and once that happens, I can't stand my mani anymore and it needs to go. I did use them with the Binary topcoat which comes in an opaque bottle so it doesn't cure already, but it also means you can't really tell how much is left. The topcoat is on the thick side (I like that for topcoat) but doesn't necessarily smooth out the polish.
My favorite shades are Alexandra and Sofia because of their smooth application. Also, the hidden shimmer in the other 2 annoyed me a bit. I want either no shimmer or full on shimmer, lol!
Have you tried the Dance Legend Binary range? If so, what do you think of it?
Dance Legend is sold through their own webshop, and ships internationally. Dance Legend Binary shades come in 15 ml. bottles and retail for $10.
