Let's dive right in.
Pahlish Man's Red Flower is a neon peach holographic with subtle peach shimmer. Shades like these are always so hard to capture for me, but I think this is quite color accurate. It didn't look as neon to me though but maybe there was a slight batch difference. Still a pretty shade even without the neon finish! The holographic particles play nicely with the light. Applying this shade was a breeze, a smooth and buttery formula that's opaque in 2 coats. It dries dull so topcoat is needed for a shiny finish.
Pahlish The Dawn Patrol is a neon teal holographic with subtle gold shimmer. My favorite of these 3, because well, it's teal ^^! The holographic finish isn't as apparent in this shade but I don't mind, the subtle play of the rainbow combined with the subtle gold shimmer creates a lovely depth and the formula is just as perfect. 2 smooth coats were all I needed for an opaque result. It didn't seem to stain though I'm always a bit careful when wearing a shade like this. Dries dull so use topcoat for a shiny surface.
Pahlish The Word of Bagheera is a deep violet linear holographic with bright purple sparks. Uhm... HELLOOOOO NURSE! The holographic finish on this one is super sparkly and that deep, deep shade of violet is a perfect base for it. It has that slick appearance black fur has when it's brightened by sunlight. The formula was a tad more sheer on the first coat but still perfect with 2, and application was just as great as with the other 2 shades! Doesn't dry as dull but I always top with topcoat :-).
This trio is such an amazing set! The colors are spot on with their inspiration and the formula on these is a delight. My personal favorite is The Dawn Patrol because it's teal and I love all teal polishes, but that gorgeous holographic finish of The Word of Bagheera is screaming for attention as well.
What do you think of these? Do you think the names match up to the colors and the inspiration behind them? Tell me in the comments!
