Swatches & Review // Pahlish Tropical Trio

Hi loves! More Pahlish swatches today to prepare you for the restock this Sunday. This time I am showing you the Pahlish Tropical Trio that consists of 3 neon jellies filled with silvery white, violet and blue flakes. I'll admit I had a hard time capturing the true color of these so make sure to check more swatches before deciding on these.

Pahlish Japanese Moon Melon

Pahlish Japanese Moon Melon

Pahlish Japanese Moon Melon (please DO Google that - it's an actual blue melon!) is a neon blue jelly with a mix of silvery white, violet, and blue flakes. The shade of blue is gorgeous, and I love how the violet flakes look against the base. I used 2 coats, there might still be some visible nail line but I like the squishy finish. Finished with topcoat.

Pahlish Melon Baller

Pahlish Melon Baller

Pahlish Melon Baller is a neon coral-orange jelly with a mix of silvery white, violet, and blue flakes. My camera thought: "HEY! Neon orange! Yeaaaahhh I see neon orange, no coral, nope nope nope". And so I cursed and got all frustrated trying to get this color to look as accurate as possible, but this is the closest I could get :-(. Imagine a more pinky tone, not as much orange. Again 2 coats because I like the squish. Finished with topcoat.

Pahlish Watermelon Punch

Pahlish Watermelon Punch

Pahlish Watermelon Punch is an intense neon pink jelly with a mix of silvery white, violet, and blue flakes. It pulls a bit more warm on me - it's more blue toned in reality. Such a girly shade! And very happy, as well. I used 2 coats and finished with topcoat.

Overall conclusion
These shades are so juicy and happy! It's the perfect little summer set. The formula is similar in each shade - kinda on the thick side but no issues with spreading the polish or applying it evenly. The jelly base is opaque enough to be done with 2 coats though you'll need 3 if you don't like VNL. The dry down a bit dull so topcoat is needed for a shiny finish, or you could mattify them like Ida from Ida Nails It did! My favorite is Japanese Moon Melon because I love these kind of blue shades.
