Guest Post // Beachy camouflage by Serenity Nails

Hi loves! Since I'm on vacation right now (okay I'm back already but it's so nice to have all these amazing guestposts ^^), I asked some of my favorite bloggers if they wanted to do a guest post while I'm gone. One of the talented ladies that said yes is Christine from Serenity Nails. I am always amazed with her elegant swatches, they are just perfect! But she is also a talented nail art enthusiast, so I was very happy she joined with a guest post as well. Can't wait to see what she prepared!

Hi guys! I’m venturing off my little blog in Australia today and joining you here with the blessing of Deborah allowing me to hold a guest post whilst she’s on vacation. I’m so honoured and excited!

I have a super easy but effective design to show you today that was actually originally inspired by some nail art I saw right here! Not long ago Loqi posted Red Camouflage Nails and I was taken with how cool they looked, so I decided to play around with some different colours to see what I could come up with!

For the main three nails, I literally ‘dabbed’ the polish onto the nails while it was still wet so it all melded next to each other and waited for it to dry then top coated it.

I originally had some, shall we say, extravagant, feature nails happening, but after the advice of my nail fairy godmother, Emily of Very Emily, I ended up with these simple yet effective feature nails. I used the coral polish and of course, teamed them with some cute silver star studs.

Polishes used:
Celestial Cosmetics Chandra, Sea Of Tranquility, Breaker Of Chains and Incendiary and Star Studs on feature nails.
Emily de Molly Deep Coral Sea.
Dance Legend Mega Shine Topcoat.

I really like how the coral on the feature nails brings the whole look together. And, blue and coral is such a lovely combination!

I loved this look and I hope you do too! I hope my explaining of it wasn’t too confusing and I urge you to give it try next time you’re looking for something different on your nails.

I want to thank Deborah for having me here today, and thank you for having a look at my nails!
Chris xx

Wow, this look is amazing Chris! The colors look great together and the little star studs are the cutest. Thanks again so much for your effort and the beautiful look you created <3.
