Nail art // Drybrush and stamping over Cirque Colors Hatch

Hi loves! Today I have a simple but fun look to share with you, with one of my favorite polishes as the base: Cirque Colors Hatch! This speckled white shade looks so interesting and I just had to play with it for a bit :-).

Let's take a closer look!

Like I said, I used Cirque Colors Hatch as my base. I reviewed this shade before and have loved it ever since. The speckled effect, the perfect formula, the versatility of the shade, it's just awesome all around ^^. So, I painted 2 coats of it on all my nails and let it dry for a bit. While letting it dry, I used my Dance Legend Pure Manicure cuticle protector around my middle and ring finger and stamped using EDM01. This design is still one of my favorites, though I don't use it that often as you have to take your time to stamp this - when it's off center it just doesn't look as good (yeah, just look at my ring finger...). The stamping polish is one of the old CND shades called Asphalt. In my pictures it appears a tad sheer, in reality it was a nice bold stamp yet not as bold as black, which I liked. I finished these nails with shiny topcoat.

The other nails weren't stamped, I wanted to add some contrast by doing another nail art technique and I went with a drybrush look. I used CND Asphalt, China Glaze Icicle and Cirque Colors Memento Mori. I also finished with matte topcoat.

In the end, I think the contrast was a bit too big, maybe I should have used shiny topcoat on the drybrush nails as well? Oh well, they can't all be winners, right?

How do you feel about this manicure? Yay or nay? Tell me in the comments!
