Swatches & Review // Cirque Colors The Meta Collection

Hi loves! Today I have another review post to share, this time featuring the brand new Cirque Colors The Meta Collection! This is a 5-piece set featuring gorgeous multichromes with a unique, brushstroke free finish :-). Because multichromes don't really show under direct light (my usual photography set-up) I decided to shoot them using natural light.

Let's take a closer look!

Like I said, the Cirque Colors The Meta Collection consists of 5 polishes, and it has been released already. All shades are limited edition so if you see something you like, don't hold out too long or you might miss out. The formula was nice on all of them, though a bit thin and besides Some Great Reward, all needed 3 coats for proper opacity.

Cirque Colors Cabaret Voltaire is a shimmery chameleon that shifts from purple to red to orange. Kicking off with my favorite :-D I always love these warm shadeshifters so much, perfect for Autumn as well!

Cirque Colors Ghost In The Machine is shimmery chameleon that shifts from green to blue to purple. This one reminds me of bruises, lol! It does shift nicely and I like those little flecks you see in the macro.

Cirque Colors Some Great Reward is a shimmery chameleon that shifts from gold to green. This one is the least multichrome but the most intense in color, 2 coats were more than sufficient for an opaque finish.

Cirque Colors Techno Manifesto is a shimmery chameleon that shifts from red to gold to green. A very classic multichrome color, it reminds me of Orly Space Cadet though they aren't that similar at all.

Cirque Colors Version Infinity is a shimmery chameleon that shifts from blue to purple to red. I love the purple tone in this one! It's a bit warmer in color than Ghost In The Machine.

Overall conclusion
While multichromes aren't as unique anymore as they were a few years ago, they are still very eyecatching and fun to play with in the right light. The colorshift is also very amusing to people unknown to the concept of multichromes: "I thought your polish was purple? Wait, is it blue? Nah, it's green! What's happening!". So amusing ^^.

The formula on these was nice, even if I needed 3 coats for opacity they applied smooth and even, and it didn't build up to a thick layer of polish. My favorites are Cabaret Voltaire and Some Great Reward.

What do you think of this set? Are you still excited by multichromes? And which shade do you like best? Tell me in the comments!
