Very Emily, she has swatches up as well. I love linking up with her because she has a very different photography set-up, so you can see the polish in different circumstances ^^.
Now, let's take a closer look!
Pahlish Black Licorice Bats is a soft gray holographic with a mix of pink and purple flakes. Woah, such a stunner! The holographic effect is very strong and the flakes are adding another sparkle to it. The formula was nice, a bit sheer but easy to build up in 3 coats. Topped with topcoat.
Pahlish Cinnamon Twist is a bright warm cinnamon red holographic packed with bright metallic red shimmers. Such a lovely shade of red this is! And the formula was great as well, 2 easy coats and you are done. Topped with topcoat.
Pahlish Cotton Candy Creature is a bright warm orchid purple holographic with bright pink and neon purple flakes. The formula on this one was a bit thicker, though still easy to apply. It might need some thinner after a few months maybe. I used 2 coats and finished with topcoat.
Pahlish Marshmallow Pumpkin is a bright peachy orange holographic with lots of peach and pink flakes. I'm not a huge fan of orange polishes, but this is a lovely soft shade of orange, even though it is bright at the same time. It's just not as intense as some of my other orange polishes. A thinner formula, I needed 3 coats for opacity and finished with topcoat.
Pahlish Sour Caramel Apple is a bright apple green holographic with a mix of green and gold flakes. Such a happy shade! And definitely reminding me of sour apples. The formula was really nice, 2 easy coats and topcoat were all I needed.
Pahlish Stopped Watch is a dark green jelly with a mix of taupe, red, and peach shimmers. It's the base of the October duo and well.. I adore it! Even though it needs 3 coats for opacity and applies a bit patchy at first, even though it looks black a lot of times, the moment you apply topcoat to this beauty you'll see the fire light up inside of it and it is just STUNNING.
Pahlish Autumn People is a clear topper with a mix of red ultrachrome flakes, gold flakes, and multicolored chameleon flakes with neon purple shimmer. Based on the description you don't think it would work on top of Stopped Watch, but it does! However, it also looks great on a lighter base - below I paired it with OPI Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh? and it's magical too ♥.
The Happy Holo-Ween II collection is a nice follow-up on the original set, and I love the holo finish on them (and the logo! Have you seen those adorable ghosties with bows?). Especially Black Licorice Bats has stolen my heart, with that gorgeous extra sparkle. And then there's the October duo.. It's one of the prettiest I've ever seen from Pahlish I think. The topper Autumn People works wonders with Stopped Watch as a base, but it's very versatile and will definitely be busted out more often.
What do you think of these 2 sets of polishes? See anything you fancy? Tell me in the comments!
