Nail Art // Double Bursts over Cirque Colors City Lights

Hi loves! Today I am sharing a look I actually created a while back, it was still sitting in my unpublished folder waiting patiently to see the light of day! As you might know Cirque Colors is one of my favorite indie brands and a while back I asked Annie if she had some left overs of her Cirque Colors x Nordstrom Warby Parker collection. I got lucky as she did have a few and I purchased both City Lights and Big Sur. Today I am showing the look I created with City Lights!

Cirque Colors City Lights is a very pale and soft grey shade, almost white, with a lovely holographic sparkle in it. True white holo shades are hard to find and even though this isn't one, I still adore the polish for how it looks. The formula was great as well, 2 easy coats were all I needed to achieve a smooth and opaque finish.

After I applied my basecolor, I used a stamping plate from Hēhē to create my nail art. I'll admit, this most likely isn't a genuine Hēhē plate, as I purchased it from Aliexpress. However, Hēhē is now shipping worldwide so if you want to be sure you buy from and support the original owners and creators of this design, make sure to check their website. I won't be purchasing my Hēhē plates anywhere else anymore!

Did you know you can avoid a lot of frustration by using a cuticle protector before you stamp? I mostly use one from Dance Legend, the Dance Legend Pure Manicure cuticle defender. This liquid latex brushes on easily and you just peel it away when you are done with stamping.

I did 2 rounds of stamping, one time in white and one time in black, making sure I turned the design a bit so you could see both colors on the nail. It looks both subtle and bold at the same time!

What do you think of the finished look? Tell me in the comments!
