If you want to see the original look, make sure to check this blog post!
For my version of the look, I used all Cirque Colors polishes. I started with Cirque Colors Carpe Diem on all nails but my ringfinger, which was polished with Cirque Colors McKittrick. When Carpe Diem was dry enough, I used McKittrick, La Vie Boheme and Rococco to add the brushed on accents. You leave the brush a little more wet than you would for a distressed dry brush look, and just simple swipe on some color where you want it!
The adorable pineapple on my ringfinger is from Born Pretty Store. For just $2 you receive 5 pieces. They measure 4mm in width by 8mm in height, and they are solid with a flat backing. I pushed mine down into the wet polish, carefully to not make the polish bulge too much but deep enough to have it as attached as possible, and it felt quite sturdy this way. The detail on the pineapple charm is great and when I removed it, I gently cleaned the back with some polish remover and it seems I can re-use it without any trouble!
Hopefully you like my version of this looks as much as the original, I just feel so happy when I see something beautiful by another blogger and I can actually recreate it with my limited nail art skills!
