Madam Glam. I really enjoy trying these colors as they are gorgeous and unique, and it's nice to expand my gel stash a bit :-). Also, Madam Glam has some nice discounts most of the time so it isn't too expensive either!
Let's take a closer look!
Madam Glam Heart Attack is a medium green, leaning quite blue/teal which I absolutely LOVE! It's a creme finish and opaque in 2 coats. It applied easily, didn't move around and with a short flash cure on the tips there was no shrinking either.
Madam Glam Merlot is a berry toned red base filled with a lovely irregular shaped shimmer/flakie that gives it a glowy finish. Absolutely stunning for the holidays! The formula was a tad more sheer and a bit runny. I used 3 coats and made sure to flash cure each layer before getting to the actual curing to prevent it from pooling my cuticles. Even if it's a bit more work, this shade is still worth it ;-).
Madam Glam Shake Your Grass is a bold metallic grass green. That name! So cute. And the color is very impressive too. The formula was a bit weird, it seemed the pigment would brush away if you applied it like you normally would, so I used more of a dabbing motion and this way it was perfectly opaque in 2 coats.
If you like gel polish and you are looking for some unique and fun additions to your stash, Madam Glam is a brand worth checking out. They offer nice discounts from time to time and even have a VIP box that offers 3 gels a month for just $29 - you can cancel anytime you want! Out of these 3 shades, it's hard to pick a favorite, but I'll go with Merlot. It's a perfect holiday shade and berries and reds are just easier to wear for a longer time, they don't "stand out" as much.
Which of these 3 shades is your favorite? Tell me in the comments!
Madam Glam is based in New York City and besides soak off gel polish, they also sell regular nail polish and other make-up items. All polishes are 5-free, cruelty free and vegan. Worldwide shipping is available.
