Nail art // Gradient stamping with Hēhē Plus Fairytale 005

Hi loves! Okay, so I am posting yet another look using the Hēhē Plus Fairytale 005 stamping plate I reviewed last week, but I can't help myself! I want to use this plate constantly! And this look was yet again inspired by my nail polish bestie Emily from Very Emily, don't you just love it when someone provides such inspiration?

Let's take a closer look ^^.

The Hēhē Plus Fairytale 005 stamping plate has very comforting, soft designs on it. A lot of knitted and weaved designs and this whispy feathered design is another stunner. Emily used it with various blues and greens, but I chose to go with purple and pink! While not every nail shows a gradient as much as other nails, I still love how varied and soft the stamping looks.

To start this look I used Dance Legend Polina, a basic white creme from the Binary range. This is a super pigmented white, and 2 coats were more than enough to create a clean canvas. It did apply slightly patchy, but top coat smoothed out any imperfections so this might be a great new white base for nail art! While letting it dry I applied my Bundle Monster Poli-Peel, a liquid latex barrier that makes clean-up after stamping so much less work. Fun fact: it goes on a barbie pink and dries to a darker, see-through pink with sparkles!

Using Cirque Colors Velvet Underground (dark purple), OPI Kiss Me On My Tulips (hot pink) and OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around (porcelain pink) I stamped my nails. I added a dot of each color on both the top and bottom of the stamping image, and scraping various directions blended them creating this gradient of colors.

Just like last time I am utterly impressed with the quality of the stamping plate. The image picked up perfectly and without any effort, and look how crisp it transferred! I bet you understand my obsession with this plate ;-).

What do you think of this stamped look? And have you ever tried this technique to create a more gradient like stamping? Tell me in the comments!
Hēhē plates should only be purchased through their own website (they offer international shipping) to avoid buying fakes and so you can support the actual designer. They have both plus sizes plates available as well as regular round plates, with many amazing designs.
