Hi guys! You know how you sometimes get inspiration from the strangest things? Well, today I'm showing you a manicure that was inspired by another hobby of mine: crochet! I've recently started a blanket (for those of you in the know, it's the 2016 Mix 'n match CAL) and I was so happy with the colors I picked that I wanted to use them for a manicure as well! So today I've got some splatter nail art to show you with my yarn colors!
Curious yet?
For my blanket I am using a combination of grey, parchment, teal, red and black yarn. So I searched my stash for matching nail polish colors and I actually got a really close match for all of them! The blanket of course isn't going to be splattered, it's going to be striped, but I did not feel like doing a tape manicure with this many colors, so I though splattering would be a great alternative, I love how it looks! These are the colors I ended up using:
Essence Rock my world - grey basecoat,
OPI Skyfall - red,
Bondi Tavern on the - teal,
Wet 'n wild Black crème - black and
OPI My vampire is buff - crème/parchment. I really love how it turned out!
I hope you guys like it and see you next week!
