Madam Glam with you. It's so much fun to pick out new shades every month and I try to grab those that both fit my style and don't have a swatch picture yet, so you can better judge any future purchases you might be planning (also, there's a discount code at the bottom of this post ;-)).
Let's see what I chose this round!
All pictures are taken under artificial lighting which highlights a holographic or sparkly finish and slightly washes out smaller details like glitter.
Madam Glam Back to Cali is a muted, porcelain like pink shade. On the website it's described as a creamy pastel lavender but I think it's definitely more pink than lavender toned, kinda in line with OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around (which is a lighter tint). The formula was perfectly opaque in 2 thin coats, no bald patches and no shrinkage on the tips. It also didn't run before curing because it's rather thick, but not in a way you can't apply it thinly. Also, this color? Perfection! Great as a base for nail art, very appropriate to wear to the office and neutral enough to wear on a holiday and not be bored with it any time soon.
Madam Glam Clean Slate is a bright blue-greenish shade with a pearly shimmer to it. The shimmer turned out to be more pearly than I hoped for, which isn't my favorite finish, but the color itself is very happy and cheery. Again, a 2 coat formula that didn't give me any trouble, though it did dry more dull - it comes to life after you apply your top coat.
Madam Glam What a Night is a dark blue base filled with a super sparkly and fine sprinkling of shimmer. The name of this beauty is so fitting! Please keep in mind I take my pictures under bright, direct lighting which lightens up colors like these a bit, it's a bit deeper and less "flat" looking in reality. The formula of What a Night was a bit thinner compared to the other 2 shades, which did help with a thin application but also seemed to be more prone to running down my nails. A quick flash cure can help you here. It also shrunk a bit on my tips though it doesn't show in the pictures. Still, this color is so sparkly and pretty I don't even mind having to work this one a bit more!
I'm feeling repetitive here, but Madam Glam provides gorgeous gel colors with great formulas. My absolute favorite of these 3 is Back to Cali because it's the perfect gel version (not an exact match) of OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around, but What a Night is breathtaking as well! And if you don't mind a pearly finish, Clean Slate is the perfect cheery blue-greenish color for those warmer days.
