Swatches & Review // Native War Paints Constable & Cozy Sweater

Hi loves! Another Native War Paints post this week, featuring 2 more gorgeous shades. The other week I posted colors from their Classic Essentials line, but now I am showing polishes from "regular" collections for you to drool over ;-).

Doesn't that look promising?

If you want to read about my overall first experience with this brand I recommend you check out my first review, as I told some things about my shopping experience there.

Native War Paints Constable is a taupe holographic polish filled with red flakies. SUCH a beauty! I can't even with this polish, it's delicate yet bold at the same time with those red/copper flakies. The taupe base has a nice purple hint in it making it very wearable for me, and the holographic sparkle just pushes this over the edge for me. It was surprisingly opaque, I only needed 2 coats and it applied heavenly. A little more thin but easy to control and very smooth in finish.

Native War Paints Cozy Sweater is a dark blue polish filled with gold shimmer. Oh man, the Sweaters collections are so amazing! They all have this gorgeous heavy shimmer thing going on and I definitely need more of them after trying this beauty ;-). The way the gold shimmer contrasts with the inky base is just perfect. The formula was a bit thick and patchy on the first layer, but the second coat smoothed out everything. It dries really dull so top coat is a must!

Overall conclusion
Just like the 2 shades from the Classic Essentials line, these impressed me with pigmentation and finish. Even though Cozy Sweater didn't have a perfect formula, it still ended up smooth and gorgeous on the nail, and Constable is what dreams are made of! I can see this being on my nails A LOT.

What do you think of these 2 shades? Do you feel the need to try out Native War Paints now ;-)? Tell me in the comments!
