Hi loves! An extra post today, that's because I got the amazing The Trouble with Valentine's collaboration box to share with you today! If you like it, be quick because they are going fast. The Trouble with Valentine's collaboration box features Cirque Colors Karma Sutra, Lacquer Lust Unloved Unicorn and Serum No. 5 Single's Awareness Day.
Let's take a closer look!
As always, the set comes in a see-through box that's gift-ready. There was also a heart-shaped lollipop included!
Cirque Colors Karma Sutra is a sparkling burgundy made with pure silver-coated micro-flakes. This is SO sparkly! The pure silver-coated flakies are easy to spot once you remove this polish, and the pigmentation on the burgundy is great - you can practically paint it on in 1 coat! I used 2 because I always use 2 coats ;-) and finished with topcoat.
Lacquer Lust Unloved Unicorn is a signature silver holographic micro-glitter with a bold mix of larger red, purple and black glitters. The last 2 collaboration boxes also contained a unicorn polish, and they are so fun! Really sparkly, too. There are plenty of colored glitters mixed in and application was easy, I used 2 coats and finished with topcoat.
Serum No. 5 Single's Awareness Day is a rich, warm plum with copper holographic sparks that glows in the dark. It's a bit of a dusty shade that I really like, and the formula was easy to work with as well. I used 2 coats for opacity. It glows blue, sorry for the bad picture but I really suck at capturing GITD polishes!
As I've come to expect since the last 2 releases, this collaboration box is put together very well. Each brand shows their quality with a unique shade, and together the appearance is cohesive and beautiful. My favorite is the Cirque Colors shade because sparkles, but I adore all 3!
