Hi loves! Today I have something different to share with you, it's a gorgeous JORD Wood Watch that's stealing the show today! A lot of bloggers have been featuring these watches lately and while it might seem weird for a nail blog to feature jewelry, I think it makes perfect sense: pretty items inspire pretty nail art!

When I was chatting to JORD Wood Watches I was offered the choice of a few different models, and I went with the Fieldcrest in Green Sandalwood. It's a medium sized model, the case is 39 mm in width and 11 mm thick. It's not too big though, I think it looks quite nice on my wrist! The wood feels so light when it's on your wrist, a really nice and airy feeling opposed to some of my watches that carry quite the weight.
Before the watch was send to me, JORD Wood Watches offered to size it for me. I measured a different watch that fits well to their online sizing chart (directly on my computer screen ;-)) and it turned out a perfect fit! The extra links are also added in the wooden box your watch comes in so you can always get it adjusted if it's not the fit you like.
When it arrived I was amazed by the lovely wooden box the watch sits in, and there's this adorable little watch pillow you can put it on for safe keeping. There's is also a little cloth included to wipe down the face of your watch in case you smudge it with your fingers.
To compliment the watch I created some nail art using OPI Uh-Oh Roll Down The Window, Cirque Colors Reflektor and Dance Legend Polina. If you look closely you'll notice the "6" & "12" indicators are what inspired my look.
I really love how sturdy my watch feels even though the material is very light on your wrist. The green hue of the wood makes it a statement piece while blending in easy with various looks because it's a natural material. The butterfly clasp is easy to open and close and while I do like a date indicator on my watch, the fact it's not there makes for a more clean face plate. If you are looking for a new watch, I highly recommend checking out JORD Wood Watches!
