Hi loves! I am posting today, yay! It's another Paint All The Nails challenge day and I had some inspiration last weekend so I whipped up this post, hope you enjoy ^^. The theme this month is Pastel Geometric (at first it was just pastel but it was a bit broad) and I think I matched the theme quite well.
Let's take a closer look!
To create this look I started with a white base which is Dance Legend Polina. It's so pigmented and easy to use, and dries down quickly too! Then, I grabbed a sponge and tore off some pieces to dab on China Glaze Dance Baby, Cirque Colors Meet Me in Montauk and Dance Legend Gel Effect 1046.
Now, my pastel base was done but I needed to add something geometric. I used a plate from Hēhē and messed up the design a bit on purpose, to create an acid wash effect on the overall finish. I basically stamped like I normally would, but waited longer before picking up the image from the plate. This way it's already a bit dry and will look patchy. Desired effect accomplished!
Obviously I had to finish with a matte topcoat because matte ♥, and I was done!
What do you think of this pastel geometric look? And do you ever experiment with "failed" stamping tricks? Tell me in the comments!
